Strange isn't it? Because the US portrays it self as, "The greatest Democracy on earth" the people (or quite a proportion of them) do not see this for what it is.

If this was happening in Russia there would be outrage in the west with sweeping accusations of corruption and a dictatorship

Trump responded to the prosecutor’s suggestions on Monday, saying it’s “a continuation of the worst witch hunt in American history.”
