I really hope hodgson plays the younger players against lithuania and the pairing up top is kane with either ings, austin or berahino. It's time to start blooding the younger players.

-----------------Hart----------------

Clyne----cahill-----???-------bertrand/gibbs

Sterling-----henderson---???-------????

----------kane--------ings/austin/bera---

I know he can't drop his so called super star and captain rooney so he will have to start but I just wish hodgson will start any of the 4 young striking talents we have.

Who else would you like to see start?? What would be better a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3.

I still think he is looking to find his best XI and pairings such as at CB and CM. with injuries, loss of form and just a lack of top quality in a few areas, I think he is struggling. CM is the area for me where we have a real shortage of quality

CM is a problem area for us. I didn't even want to put henderson in there but I was struggling, TBF he is playing well ATM. Clyne is the better player than walker so thats why I went for hm.

I expect an uninspiring/boring/ineffective "safe" team such as

-----------------------Hart-----------------------------
Johnson-----Cahill-------Jagielka---------Baines

Welbeck-----Henderson---Lampard------Milner

-----------------Sturridge-------Rooney

Lamps has retired from international football hasn't he? The lack of serious options at CM prompted me to suggest that Ryan Mason has an excellent chance of making the next squad. No Wiltshere, Gerrard/Lamps gone, leaves the likes of Carrick, Delph as natural central players or others such as Milner, Ox Chamberlain, Downing who prefer wider roles. So does that make Mason a sensible and viable option for a squad place, at least?

I f I had to choose a team now I would go for:

------------------------Hart------------------------------

Clyne---------Cahill------------Jagielka----------Gibbs

-------------------Henderson------------

--------------Rooney-----Milner/OX------------

-----sturridge-----------------------sterling

----------------------Kane------------------

I don't want to see welbeck anywhere near the starting 11 as he does not deserve it. Austin and ings should both be in the squad.

anyone think Rose should be in with a shout for LB spot? Not seen enough of Gibbs or Bertrand to compare but don't feel Baines deserves it on current form.
