Under 23s

Young forward La'Sean Sealey has signed his first pro deal with the club.

The deal will run until 2027, with the club having a 12-month extension.

He has been with the club a while now and it is good to see a prospect given a deal like this.
 
I see the u21s lost to Leeds last night - Shirley was sent off.

Barden also played, but he is still at Swindon, right? He hasn't been in the last few match-day squads there, but didn't he have an injury? Is he just back recovering and getting game time before going back?

Vatan Ozcan has signed a two-year deal.

Sure some young players coming through our Academy is great but I am not against us acquiring young players from other clubs, (e.g., Mahovo, Schwartau, Forsyth, Fisher) its just like expanding the pool of players you are looking at.

I agree, but you cant class mahovo, fisher Forsyth as our academy players. That was my point where as someone like ozcan you could and djedje (I think we scoured him at 11 when he was playing school football and he had been with us since 14) as both been with us since their younger days.

I didnt classify them as Academy players:

Sure some young players coming through our Academy is great but I am not against us acquiring young players from other clubs, (e.g., Mahovo, Schwartau, Forsyth, Fisher)


Hopefully members of both groups make the first team squad and play in the same team.

I wasn't referring to you when I wrote 'you can't class them as our academy players' i should have written people/club/JHT/fans/media outlets
 
watching the u21s losing to chelsea and I can confirm that our u21s, like the senior side, struggle at set pieces and make a lot of mistakes with this passing out from the back.
 
Adeboyega came on late in the Dundee Utd v Dundee game. He then managed
to shove a Dundee player in the back while in the penalty area. So he got sent off!
 
I would have thought the non-retained list other than the known ones would have been issued by now, especially the you have no place next season so can leave.
