Updates so far:

Strong start from Arsenal, few shots on target and few corners, including effort hitting woodwork

Less than convincing defending from corners

Aaron Lewis, good run down the right but he shoots rather than crossing, with a frustrated Biabi free in 6-yard box

Swans not doing enough to win ball back in own half in first 15, intensity increased after that

Another scramble in our box after an Arsenal corner but we clear it eventually. Again, we don't look overly convincing defending these corners which are swinging in at the right place in the goalmouth

Arsenal looking physically stronger which is making it quite difficult for the Swans at times to regain possession.

Probably our best spell of passing, leads to a chance from the left, cross in from the left back Blake but Biabi can't get his effort on target.

A slip lets Arsenal in plenty of space down the right flank, but under no pressure, the low pull-back cross falls straight to a Swans player and we can clear the danger out for a throw in

Gorre weaved his way through a crowd of players and into the penalty box but it comes to nothing in the end.

Straight at the other end, Arsenal too are lacking that clinical quality in front of goal with a ball curling in and dropping harmlessly behind for a goal kick.

It's end to end now, and again - the Swans get forward but the low cross can't be met, Gorre picks it up at the far post but can't pull it back for a team-mate.

Both teams have had chances with Arsenal having the edge, but they've lacked quality with their final ball and crosses in the final third.

Matthew Blake did well at left back, only 18 years of age. Hope to see more of Dan James down the right, he'll be playing near side in second half.

GOAL - Arsenal 1-0 Swansea. From a corner, can't say I'm surprised. Well worked, a low cross unlike those before them.

Arsenal have a great chance to double their lead after getting in behind down the right, but a defender hooks it clear before an Arsenal player can finish at the far post.

Another shot on goal from Arsenal, a low one that creeps just wide. Arsenal looking more confident now after their opener and they're looking to stretch their lead

Dan james sends in a cross but the header at the far post goes wide as the Swans look to get the scores back level again

Swansea need to be thinking about a sub change soon, and Byers fires a shot just wide from distance. We get into another good position in front of goal but we're just not making a most of these opportunities.

Bianbi up top needs greater support. Gorre is coming inside at times but he's often too far away to offer anything when the ball comes his way.
