With the the UEFA announcing that the BIG 4 FAs will be guaranteed 4 places each in the Champions League from 2018, it will be certainly interesting to see how the English FA will embrace this 'guarantee'. The wording takes out the possibility of the FAC winners it seems,
Will further money spinners evolve ? Such as play off between 4th and 5th placed teams ? Or even play offs between 4-7 placed teams - with the top two going to CL and EL respectively.

Another set of money spinners to delve into the supporters'pockets, no doubt. How do you see this panning out ?

The one thing for certain is that with the proposed significant change (increases) for the Europa, EPL clubs will now take it much more seriously.

The EPL/The FA will really need to tackle head on the winter break now, because unless we do, all hope of being competitive towards the end of our domestic season is at an end.

I recently saw a player performance database that tracks individual player performances that did an analysis of English based players from all continents and what happens to their individual performances towards the end of our domestic season - it's absolute irrefutable proof that our season simply exhausts players - the decline in individual performance stats is truly shocking.

Winning anything in Europe or in any tournament is nigh on impossible until our approach changes.

No, and I can't publish extracts either as it's the IP of a player tracking service that is a paid for premium service.

but just another little piece of evidence of what a full season in the Pl does to players:
