The 2017/18 Champions League draw takes place in Monaco, tomorrow, Thursday 24 August at 5pm BST.

It's gonna be a tough one, bring it on! Would rather have group of death than another group of average teams an get embarrassed again

Barca are about to sign dembele from dortmund as well so they will be weaker. I think we take 2nd and like you said, its a great draw football wise.
 
We have the toughest group of the PL sides, and if RM and BD pay to their true levels we need to be unrecognisable from the side that embarresses itself in Europe under Porky.

This are what the CL should be about.
 
So the consensus from the pundits is well pretty much well and truly f**ked and shouldn't even bother turning up.

If I were Poch, I'd sticks these pundits comments all over the dressing room walls.

One BIG positive, is that having been written off so quickly - we can play with freedom - that might well be a huge bonus for us.
 
We don't really expect to win the CL do we ? But we can have a right old go at this group and make statement. We could cause an upset and go through. If not we have the Europa to do the same. Some big Wembley nights coming up.

The players will love it. It's great for the club and the fans.

No daft tactics. Just have a right tear up and go for it.
 
As I am back in the UK for work and off the back of our stellar ECL draw I thought I'd break my self imposed purdah. In the wake of drawing Dortmund and Real these games now assume a wider significance for our club. Pochettio's reputation as a great young coach could be broken in these four games. There's more than qualification at stake, momentum and the whole impetus of "the project" could be stalled if we play like last year. I'm sure the thought of Aubameyang and Ronaldo running at Davis will probably finish and thoughts of Rose leaving this season. Also the desperate need for an injection of pace in not just the squad but the first eleven will (with luck )prompt a reevaluation of targets in the final days of the window. Can't wait COYS!
 
Tough Draw but whats the point in being in the CL if you are not playing the top teams, Im sure Liverpiss and Chelski fans will have their smug grins on after this draw but we thought we had a handy group last season and look how that turned out... there's going to be some fabulous nights at Wembley and its a great test for our young team,this can only make them better..
