Who scored Arthur.?

Aasgaard was the stand out player first half but got a knock just before half time and didn't come out for the second half. Hope it's just precautionary.

Some feisty (shocking) challenges flying in towards the end which resulted in a mass hand bags on the half way line. All in all an entertaining evening and a bargain at £0.00

Any of the young lads impress?

Robinson linked up well with Aasgaard first half down the left, Smith ran himself into the ground in the middle of the park and looks a real battler, Sze was a hand full up front and put a shift in, Carragher looked solid and composed throughout, some nice touches from all of the lads at various points, McHugh (I think) did very well in the build up to the second goal.

Charlton's left winger (No 11) looked decent and caused Lloyd a few problems and the lad in the middle of the park (No 8) also looked a player.

All this is opinion from a bloke who is blind as a bat so take it with a pinch of salt.

Was there many there Arthur ?

Latics U18's lose to Barnsley (spit) U18s in Premier League cup.
This appears to be the most relevant part of the write up

"With the home side looking in control, the match turned on its head in the 59th minute after two players were dismissed for Latics. First, Arthur Lomax saw red for a late challenge, before Brooks received his second yellow in the resulting melee.
...
After a superb defensive effort, Barnsley finally broke Latics' resolve in the 72nd minute after substitute Dyer swooped low to head a cross home from inside the six-yard box.
The away side added a second in the dying stages after fellow Barnsley substitute Jalo cut inside on the right flank and curled an unstoppable effort into the far corner. "

Referees have had it in for all our age groups so far this season.
One example of many is the fact the vast majority of 50/50s that we get penalised for (and sometimes get Yellow cards for), somehow get waved away when we're on the receiving end 🤔

Call it a conspiracy if you like, but I get the feeling the EFL weren't happy that we not only survived administration, but also survived relegation too...

Latics u23s lost 5-3 to top of the table Coventry u23s but on the plus side Aasgaard made his return from injury. Not seen a match report yet so don't know how long he played for, but hopefully he came through unscathed.

Edit: Aasgaard played 60 minutes
