We get ourselves in a great position after beating Portsmouth but fail to build on it. It's amazing how tight the division is with only 3 points separating the teams in 6th and 18th.
The next few games are mainly against teams in the bottom half so by mid-December, we should have a far better idea of what our intentions are.
At the minute we take a step forwards then take another one back. Consistency is the key in this division but we aren't showing anywhere near enough. Jon Stead can't come back quickly enough either.
