Tv technical help needed

Can anyone help me here please lads?Basically you know the lead that runs from your wall into your tv?Well mine has completley snapped which means I can't get any tv output at all.Does anybody know how it can be fixed or where I could get another one of these cables?Or how I would even go about installing it if a did get one?

Should be coaxial cable. On this side of the pond radio shack has all that stuff. Just take the cable there and get another one.

It's basically completley snapped off so even if a was to buy another one I don't get how it would attatch back to the lead coming out the wall?

Ok. So you dont have a wall tie in. A receptacle type set up. You just have a wire coming from the floor.

If thats the case, then like mountie says you have to put a new fitting on the end of the wire. Strip the the insulator away, slide the new fitting over it and crimp it to the cable.

If its your aerial feed then dont worry as they're cutting the signal soon, so will be probably obselete anyway.

Just buy an indoor digital aerial thingy. can get half decent ones for £25

Yep that's it..It runs from a hole in the wall to the back of the tv.The bit that is actually supossed to go into the back of the tv has completley snapped off.

ben hope your good a soldering lol, is your TV under warrenty or insured if so claim off them first if not get the iron out take the back off and get to work. failing that get a new TV

i think he means the actual connection for the tv for the cable to connect into :10:
If that's the case, another question then...
