TV Rights and the gap between the PL & EFL

I found this article on the BBC website and I must say, it certainly confirms what I feel we may already know, but for those who don't it certainly opens your eyes;

I know it's a free market and blah, blah, blah, but the gap really is obscene. Add in the fact that half the PL could play in empty stadia and still make a profit, just shows how insignificant the fans are in reality.

The gap between the big sty six and the rest of the prem is getting even wider at an even faster rate than that of the championship and prem lge.
It's never going to be an even playing field ever again , which is what the press , sky have created.
We could of been in that mix if O'Neil had made the right signings when we were regulars in the top 6, when we were way ahead of Spuds and city at that time.
Seems a lifetimeago.
Turning corners and wrong place come to mind.

And their aim is probably just survival every season.
