The Fear

A Wise Man (once sat next to him)
Looks a great deal this:

Worth it?

The processor looks a little weak, Fear. Sometimes it leads to ghosting on fast moving pictures, like football fro example.

Currys/PCWorld sell this model, so it might be worth going to have a look, just to make sure. If it's OK, then that price is brilliant.

The only other consideration would be whether it is worth buying a non 4k (Ultra high definition) TV right now? It's still quite new, but more 4K transmissions will be coming.

I posted this over ten mins ago. I should have at least 50 posts helping me out and advising by now.

wtf is wrong with you people! :17:

damn, my joke backfired, Heath has answered!

Thanks mate, although not sure I will need the ultra 4k doo dah, I find hd brilliant enough.

But hmmmm!

Might actually be a bit too big for my tv stand though which was custom built, going to go and measure!

And as you say, might pop to currys!

It's certainly a genuine deal.

Just looked on pricerunner and they have that same TV at 31 other retailers and the cheapest is £1,094.

So £899.99 is a great price.

I was busy being angry and aggressive towards a religious zealot. You know that takes priority!!!! :5: :5: :5: :5: :5:

Personally though... and if you can afford it, I'd be tempted to sacrifice 5 inches and go for this -

BEAUTIFUL!!!

4K UHD is where it's at now. Keep your crappy LED nonsense.

so with a smart tv, if I (which obviously I never would :3:) had a stream of a villa game, I can then send it to the tv nice and easily?

I have been too scare to stream a Villa game through my smart TV for fear of a virus (AND BECAUSE IT'S ILLEGAL!!)

So I just do it through the lap top, at the top of a ladder which is not illegal!

Not exactly!!! Most Streams still use Flash, and that isn't supported on the Smart TV's browser. You would need something like a Chromecast and a laptop to send it to it. Smart TV's are good for things like iPlayer/4OD and apps like Netflix. They're not really all they are cracked up to be, though.

4K is interesting. I have a 4K TV, and it upscales an HD picture into Ultra High Def. I wasn't expecting it to make such a difference. It really is stunning.

The bigger the screen, the more you will notice the lower resolution.

lol, that other tv is lovely Deano, but nearly twice the price... well, not twice the price but a lot more!

Is that a thinly disguised request for us to click on a few more adverts?
