It was either inexplicable and staggering incompetence or it was a set up.
I'm leaning towards the latter.
Most people at that rally could have taken in the surroundings and pinpointed that roof as an obvious danger spot. It should be absolute bread and butter stuff to even the least competent secret service agent - like the Little Fat Women employed, unbelievably, thanks to DEI initiatives (this is beyond stupidity and it's tiresome it even needs mentioning in this case).
People in the crowd could see the gunman for at least 4 minutes before he fired and were alerting the police, who did little to nothing.
The secret service snipers had their scopes set on him for 42 seconds before he fired. This is someone lying on a roof, 150 yards from the stage, with a rifle. They did not need permission to shoot him. Yet they waited until he fired the shots before killing him. Clearly a scenario where he should have been shot on first sight with no chances taken. Like they would have done for Obama.
Video below from Paul Watson covers all this and more with the graphics of the area included (skip the advert between 5:40 to 7:35).
As soon as it looks like they're not going to get him through the courts before the election...... this happens. Barely a week passed, FFS. But we know they have no problem with being brazen.
Which brings me to my next point - if this was planned, how did they think they were going to get away with it? What reason were they going to give for not eliminating the shooter as soon as they saw him? How were they going to explain the waiting? How untouchable do they think they are, exactly?
The key secret service personnel should be sacked and who's to say not thrown in prison for a long time as well.
Just what is the deep state so afraid of that would drive them to have Trump assassinated? The same applies to the 'Far Right' in this country and beyond. What's so scary - I must have missed it? It seems to me that these people become so thoroughly entitled to power that they believe anything can be justified in order to cling onto it.
But whatever the truth is behind this, one thing is for sure...... it has secured Trump the election. And my God how he deserves it, for that reaction alone. It was the embodiment of his courage and defiance in the face of a sustained assault that no political figure in history has ever had to endure. It was the action of a leader, it was the action of a rightful President. Tucker Carlson put it perfectly: "Very few people are ever tested in the way Trump was tested on Saturday, and not only did he pass, he got the highest score ever recorded."
