They are taking incompetence to new levels. First priority of government is keeping the country safe and they are demonstrating on a daily basis at present they are incapable of doing that. It is truly staggering. It’s clear there is no one able to get a grip of this sorry mess.

It’s now clear why Starmer didn’t show his face in Cyprus today. He couldn’t due to shame.

Days after suggesting he’d deploy a carrier the plan has had to be scrapped as France are sending eight, yes eight frigates as part of their carrier strike group to the Straits of Hormuz so they have none spare to protect ours. Meanwhile our only semi functioning destroyer is still in dock. What an extraordinarily embarrassing state of affairs. Totally humiliated by the French. Once the most feared navy in the world to now an international laughing stock. I feel sorry for our naval personnel who must be devastated more than anyone by this shambolic state of affairs. We may as well rename the fleet the Eternal Flames as these things never go out anymore.

She’s put out numerous tweets about her interview with Farage this morning. Trying to salvage her reputation I suspect because she got absolutely schooled by him as her usual line of gotcha questioning didn’t work.

Funny how the media hysteria about some alleged playground comments made half a century ago has dropped off the radar, along with his house ownership. I’m guessing they didn’t cut through as aside from the usual suspects no one else actually gave a shit.
 
His answer was clear - and one I’ve stated from the start. The US should have been supported by allowing them to use their bases located on UK soil. We weren’t asked to join the offensive and he’s right we are in such a poor state couldn’t offer much of volume. Once attacked we should have then taken out the launchers and missiles at source, not hiding behind other countries doing so on our behalf.

I’m more interested in why the government delayed on sending appropriate assets to the region to protect our military, why Starmer is allowing macron to humiliate him by showing leadership on this issue, why our navy is in such a poor shape and why he lacks any geopolitical acumen.
 
Thot most people, be that the Elite media, government, the opposition, Liberal Democrats, general public etc that Reform would never ever get into office, so why is there all this need to know what they'd do...according to most they'll never government the country so why ask?

Farage has taken over from Boris as the new bogeyman. One of the few politicians with personality and worth listening to. Despite what they say, the polls suggest Reform are on course for government.
