Of course it won't, but that interview at the NABJ 24 conference should mean that anyone who cares about Trump should stop him going in front of a camera ever again ... and it goes without saying, pull him out of the presidential race.
If it's jail-time they're worried about, I'm sure they can get him declared unfit to stand trial (hell, he's unfit to stand for milk monitor!) but he's doing absolutely no-one any good right now.
The Republican party have an opportunity ... but are they brave enough to take it? Doubtful.
Amongst lots of strong competition, that is very possibly the most stupid comment ever to be posted on this board..... a Trump victory would be the least disastrous outcome.
I'm not making the same mistake ... I'm just astounded that you think Trump to be more suitable than just about anyone else on earth. He's a lying narcissistic egomaniac who has zero morals, and would happily stamp on anyone of it helped him in any way.You keep making the same mistake. I’m not saying Trump is a suitable candidate, I’m saying he is the least worst candidate.
The Democrats fucked up. They knew Biden was a one term hit and thought Harris could seamlessly step in. Her performance as VP made them realise she was utterly hopeless. So they left him in place and carried on the charade he was cognitively fit. He wasn’t and everyone knew it. Once they knew they couldn’t keep up the lie they had no choice but to pull the plug and put this incompetent forward.
They talk about democracy being at risk but they subverted it themselves by not having a Primacy and this is the result. Their campaign is all about Trump, which is the same trap you have also fallen into. It is not about what they can put forward to the country. Reality has bitten as no one is buying it anymore and they are left with this empty vessel who can’t even answer the most basic of questions. Trump did 3 hours on the Rogan podcast a few days ago. I’ve listen to some of it and he comes across very well. They won’t put Harris on as they know it would be a car crash. Even Democrats are now throwing in the towel with exasperation at her performances.
You didn't say that he was more suitable than anyone else on earth ... you said he's more suitable than Harris, and then you've misunderstood my comment. Basically, it's me who's saying he's less suitable than the rest of the world.
I'm gobsmacked that after agreeing what Trump is, you can still say you'd have him anywhere near the big button. To me, it's just unthinkable. As for Harris (and Starmer), as I've already mentioned, you don't get to be AG by being hopeless ... no matter how many times you watch the handful of clips where she's apparently struggled. FFS, Trump does far far worse every time he's in front of a mike.
Onto Rogan, I'll be honest, I've not watched it all, just clips ... life really is too short for the whole 3 FECKING hours !!! As I said, Trump had the option of fulfilling the 3 planned debates with Harris, but after the first, where he realised he couldn't control the environment, he's ran scared. Let's face it, Rogan laughed in Trump's face when he was trying to justify why he didn't lose the 2020 election.
I could just about understand someone being taken in by Johnson ... but being taken in by Trump is a whole new level of delusion.
