Yes those statistics show how hard we were pushed by a good Port Vale performance. I've a sneaky feeling that the Vale fans will be saying that it was probably their best effort this season. We've heard that many times haven't we?
I suppose that it's a compliment to how well we've been playing when other teams put that extra effort in when they come up against us. :clap::bow:
 
We had a lot of possession, but not much cutting edge. Not our strongest starting eleven though. Good that Mattock lasted the whole game and scored in the shoot-out. No yellow cards tonight, for a change. (y)
