All those clubs have nicknames which refer to their ground

Chester - The Seals (Sealand Road)
Rotherham - The Millers (Millmoor)
Fulham - The Cottagers (Craven Cottage)
Halifax - The Shaymen (The Shay)

and previously Leicester were known as the Filberts (Filbert Street) and Leeds as The Peacocks (The Peacock Ground)

And not heard of some of those nicknames so would never have got the answer anyway

On a different slant to you excluding these, and I'm sure you know, Rotherham no longer play at Millmoor.

This was a connection on Only Connect couple of weeks ago.......but they had a much harder one instead of Chester. Any guesses as to another?

Outside of league, Tamworth - the Lambs, at the Lamb Ground.
Although is that a ground being named after a nickname rather than a nickname from a ground name??

Wasn’t Rokerites that I was thinking of. To be honest this a ground I’ve never heard of, but also a nickname that you may have wondered where it came from
