I had a little glance to see if he was involved too. I would take him back, although we'd probably break him again in short order.

For me that Palace game once again shows how players on the outer fringe of the Premier League are frankly often not football league players. Send him out on loan to National North or South first get him adjusted to fighting a battle.

IF we get both the strikers we're interested in then maybe we can get in the play-offs.

Or do we want just one of the two? The Barnet player seems like a formality according to one poster.

Our £200k offer being rejected might be a ploy to raise the price.

That said the only striker we will offload will be Wylie. No way will any of the other 4 leave before May.
 
Try not to get swept away with all these rumours as they often amount to little. It is nice though that other clubs are also interested as that shows we aren't the only scouts to show an interest.

His goals scoring record is great and having watched a few he seems to have that strikers sense of being in the right place at the right time.

I just hope we have looked at "where" he plays and "how" he plays and we don't try to play him another way. If we do we'll "Gills him" just like we have others recently.

Lets play our players in their best positions rather than trying fit them into a system that doesn't work.

I hope this one comes off (I'm swept away now).
 
I had a look at his goals video from last season. He's definitely a proper little striker.

Agree with Mark that we need to play differently with him. Basically all his goals were from passes and not crosses.

Looks like he has a crazy penalty technique which involves Kedwell-ing it but going for the corners more.

I’m a Ross County fan, and to add to your comment. In a good team, Hale would be an unbelievable player. But in a struggling team he is frustrated and looks to have a really poor attitude. He will only use his right foot and is very selfish. Insane to think we wanted £1m for him
