Transfer window rumours

Wouldn't help in this window but if our Bradley was signed to a new extension at Blackburn it could be very good news for GFC in the mid to longer term 😜👌

Dack is just shy of his 27th birthday. I think his big money move to the Premiership is now basically dead as there are probably younger talents that the big clubs would now look to gamble on with resale value.

Dack remains highly rated in terms of Premiership potential, even though the timing schedule might have changed. Important thing for GFC would be him getting a longer contract at Rovers.

I agree. Would be the best bit of transfer business that GFC are involved in this window.

Would be a case of B/Rovers protecting their interest, as an indication that they feel he remains a Premiership target. Good for us, as, indirectly, our interest is protected too. Good news ahead, I feel.

Will Dack be the same player after an ACL injury?

I think so, Phil; maybe even better. Likely to be back in the first team within the next fortnight or so. His club has faith in him and he is still destined for the higher division, which will be great for us !

That could be the best bit of news for GFC this year. Now come on Bradley, have a storming few months so the big boys come sniffing round..
PS that photo is DEFINITELY photoshopped!

Bradders` contract extension is very good news for GFC. It confirms that Rovers` know he`s still in the Premiership market and wish to protect their investment. The only potential fly in the ointment, from a GFC perspective, would be if Blackburn manage promotion this season - which is possible given the squad they have, albeit they are not favourites to go up.

Think one or two are getting ahead of themselves here, he’s not kicked a ball in anger in a year and has had issues with his hamstring (remember that injury he got at Gills) on his attempts to return. Can’t see him suddenly being signed by a Premier League side any time soon, he will do well to get back to being a regular in the Blackburn team this season.

Fake news, Lark. He`ll be fine.

Dack has matured as a person off the pitch this past year. His comeback has been managed very slowly, and intentionally so. A very slight hamstring strain held it back a couple of weeks but, again, that was managed with extreme care. Not sure on its own it qualifies as "issues".

He was excellent for 60 minutes in a PL2 game against Derby this past week. He's certainly got a shot to be on the bench on Saturday against Pulis & Wednesday but again, there's no shortage of options in midfield - Holtby, Rothwell, Downing, Johnson, Buckley, Davenport, Trybull - so there's no need until he's completely ready, especially as the club has its sights firmly on the playoffs.

As for doing well to become a regular, yeah that's not going to happen. He's amongst the biggest stars at the club and one of the first names on the team sheet when fit.
