Of the two you would think that Wickham is the most realistic but he is not a signing that would particularly excite me. Feels like he's been around forever and has not really done a lot.

Gray was an odds on favourite to join Leeds last week - apparently, wages are an issue with all of these Prem strikers, plus they seem to want permanent deals locked in, if the club secures promotion.

Also heard that Murray wants a permanent 18 month deal, with a 1 year contract extension option if certain targets are met.

Adams & Nketiah are both staying at Saints & Arsenal now.... Celtic interested in Billy Sharp & Shankland.

Wickham's move to Wednesday has also hit troubled waters.

This is the problem of the January window.

Players know they are in the driving seat and make silly demands; come July and some of these players at the end of their careers will be begging the same clubs for a contract

Mir genuinely has ability but doesn’t seem to have that footballers brain so his ability in trading just never translates into performances on the pitch. Wolves fans and coaches said exactly the same about him...
 
There appears to be a tenuous link with the latest Portuguese super star.

Benfica are looking to send Jota out on loan and it is not entirely impossible he could end up here, according to Alex Goncalves on Twitter

I actually don't think that's an entirely impossible option. First and foremost Benfica would like him to get serious game time - though they are certainly prioritising offers from the Premier League.

Not sure he is what we are looking for but it would be interesting with him doing tricks down one side of the pitch and Ameobi on the other; what could possibly go wrong?

 
Mir needs to play week in week out, probably will in Spanish 2nd Division get that march sharpness. Training is no pressure playing in front of 27,000 totally different ball game, he needed an early goal here and he may have been useful.
