Transfer rumours

I'd ideally like Brereton and Billing as the loanees. Ryan Kent and Laurence Shankland as the permanents.

From what we've heard from the local journos Brereton, Morton, Ricky Jade Jones, Barnes and Bree will be on Wilder's wish list. Isiah Jones, the regular RWB for Wilder at Boro, being made available could cause a switch from Bree.

I'm suspicious about Anel's absence, Wilder keeps saying he'll be back after his "rolled ankle in training", and for the past three games he hasn't been. If there's a good fee on the table for him it's sensible to sell. Ben Cabango and Jimmy Dunne, both steady performers in poor to middling teams, are on the last 6 months of their contracts. Whatever division we're in both would be good additions to the squad.

Quite predictably, Wilder wants to bring McBurnie back - according to our favourite tantrum throwing fat Scottish Bluesky and Patreon resident.

"Keen on a loan deal and now has the funds to make it happen after takeover".

He also says Liverpool are looking at Ryan One. Because of course they are. A striker of his profile will be watched by all of the top clubs. But it wouldn't surprise me if their interest is quite serious. He's a genuinely top prospect in my view.
I would think Chris has done his spadework on who he wants in. Can’t see McBurnie being on his shortlist myself.

You may be right Chronic but the better teams seem to have faster forwards than us. We need to compete in every part of the field.

Its funny that we now want McBurnie back, considering how much he was hated by so many over the years.

For he, he took the pi*& last season - the sendings off, the injuries, its almost as if he just didn't fancy it. To be fair, I wouldn't blame him - probably preserving himself for a move in the summer.

Never go back - that's my motto. Look for new.

I think we lack pace massively and McBurnie will not improve that. If we could afford him, Diaz, a proper left winger, a good Blaster replacement, A Souttar replacement and competition at right back I would sign McBurnie but I doubt we will get that many.
For that reason he would be near the bottom of that list for me.
We are about to see how serious these new owners are.

The more I think about it the more Ilias Chair makes sense. A low risk out of contract player, so the money should be reasonable. A player who can be a game changer. Now that Hamer has started believing his own hype too much, we lack a game changing player. Maybe Hamer will be better if he has another great technician to play with ?. To be top 2 a team needs great technical players.

Yes, great player, but we need a more height/mobility in the team. Billing from Bournemouth for me. Oh and Brooks too if they could spare him.
