Ylu and fellpw Wilder lovers just dont get it. Wildee is involved in the transfers too. But I am referring particularly to his lack of thought with the Board of covering for such a situation and the lack of abilith to get replacement in till too late or if at aln. But no point arguing.

Yes, I know all (or virtually all) players leave, but it's the circumstances of his departure that made me so angry.

Hecky had absolutely no chance that season after Ndiaye buggered off at the 11th hour like that - there's no wonder we crashed and burned.

Wilder will have had a list of players he wanted then it's up to the club to get it done.How the fork anyone can blame Wilder for the lack of incoming transfers is DAFT,but as alluss each to their own.UTB

This mess is definitely not Wilder’s fault Rod. I just think he’s been part of the charade. The two-hats in charge have lied through their teeth to the fans about the level of backing Wilder could expect this window, and clearly suggested it would be enough to see us top end. But it was never going to be that way, the talk of large bids on the table were just lies to sell tickets, and Wilder played his part by passing their message on, admittedly in a vague way. He’d say he believed there was a bid in for a new players put to him when interviewed such as Souttar, but he must have known that it was all bollox. That said, they pay his wages and I guess he has two choices, do what he’s told to do or be sacked, but I think Wilder of old would have spoken out.
I think is the point @Abbeyfield is making, is that the players/ type of player that we have brought in must have come off his wish list and quality/fitness apart, the final squad just seems unbalanced.
 
I think it is also worth mentioning that there are differences of opinion and levels of emotion with which we hold them. The thing is, we aren't on the Board. Anything we might argue over, no matter how passionately, or eloquently, makes not the slightest difference in reality. Therefore the last thing we should do is to fall out about it.

The only one I would consider based on our lack of attacking options is Ryan Kent.
The player that would fit perfectly is Thierry Gale from Bolton. A tricky pacy left winger, exactly what we needed. Very impressed by him.
 
The only good thing to come out of this window is it will force Wilder to give One more game time (when he is fit).
