Transfer rumours

I'm not sure after a demoralising spell at Peterborough sending Curtis to the SPL whipping boys is a good idea.

Let him work with Geary for the rest of the season and discover what sort of right sided defender he is.

He’s already up there training with them 🫤

Reading the Irish media when we signed him, I wondered how we’d pulled off the deal. Talk of him being the best player to come out of Ireland since George Best. Were we conned or has something gone wrong?

Bearing in mind Chris’s track record of buying strikers for reasonably big money I’d be surprised if there weren’t doubts and questions tbh

It's easy to argue with it. Between 1 and 2 exists a massive range of middle ground.
It’s how good good a deal can be negotiated…… don’t mind paying for quality but overpaying for mediocre is bad news.
Ambition isn’t directly linked to amount spent.

Remember hearing the same when we signed Peter Dornan from Linfield.

English defender Jonjoe Kenny who plays for German side Hertha Berliner also rumoured to be in the stands today. Bit of a strange one if true as he plays right back.

FFS same old clowns pulling down everything we do. I'm sure Wilder and the Blades hierarchy have more of a clue than some of the gobshites on here.
Probably when TC signed they'd have been going on about how we could justify spending £17500 on an 18 year old who only played 18 games for Watford, that nobody had heard of when they could have brought in Herbert McDoogal for half that amount.
OH DEAR, you're obviously a bit slow, Mcburnie, Brewster, Mousett, Berge. Yep Our Chris and the Hierarchy are fantastic with money to spend. Cannon for 13 million when Leicester deem him not good enough is either brilliance or complete stupidity, our track record of spending big money suggests the latter

Warnock was the same. Brilliant in pulling the odd top performer out of the Bargain bucket, but couldn't spend real transfer money to save his life.
