Transfer Rumours Thread - Summer 2024

Rumours are that we're about to sign Rhodes on a 12 months contract; to be announced on Monday.

Completely agree there is a player in Joseph.

Jury is out for me on Koussai & Beesley.

Would be really played if we got Rhodes back, look at how much Beesley improved with him around. I know he didn’t score this year but look how many he did score prior to Christmas and the positive affect he would have on our strikers.

Northampton Town are at risk of losing Louis Appéré in the upcoming summer transfer window amid interest from Barnsley and Blackpool.

According to Graeme Bailey, the forward is weighing up his options amid interest from a number of League One rivals.

Appéré’s contract is set to expire next month and has impressed many with his performances in the third tier.

The 25-year-old contributed six goals and two assists in the league

He scored 6/1 in 41 appearances. Similar in output to Lavery who scored 5/1 in 31 games

Factually incorrect. He is out on bail:grinning:

Do we believe the club statement assuring us that the running of the club is unàffected?
Running of the club I can imagine will proceed. It’s the additional investment that is needed (training ground & stadium) that might be on hold pending further steps.

The club will have it’s own budgets and cash flows as it’s a stand alone business - but we do owe loans to Simon that could come due but I think there’s a lot more water to go under the bridge before that were to happen.

Charlton Athletic are reportedly facing competition from fellow League One sides Leyton Orient, Lincoln City, Blackpool, Wycombe Wanderers and Bristol Rovers as well as Championship side Oxford United for the signature of Dunfermline Athletic defender Josh Edwards, according to The Courier and the Daily Record.
The 24-year-old has attracted the admiration of a host of EFL clubs after an impressive campaign in the Scottish Championship. The defender made 36 league appearances, scoring three times and contributing eight assists. His performances earned him a spot in the PFA Scotland Championship Team of the Year.
