Transfer rumors

well maybe you try watchng him just 5 or 6 times, seeing as thats not how it is at all. He's played well against us many a time and is the creative outlet and always has been. And he isnt as old as some of the others either

Thanks for that advice.

That is exactly what I intend doing

Hopefully get some money in and a wage off the books, still a fair few need moving. Cummings, Murphy, Clough and co not involved last night suggests lamouchi isn't going to be using them over the kids.

I think Guedioura leaving is not only a good thing but essential for the benefit of the club, if D-Taylor's reports are true and he has been disruptive behind the scenes we'd be well better off without him. During his first stint at the club he was an important player for us on occasion and came through with some great goals.

Although since he's returned he hasn't done much with the exception of that performance last year against West Brom. He's too inconsistent and too prone and giving the ball away with poor touches and passes. There is better players in that team who might not have the same shot-screamer capabilities but are definitely more consistently reliable.

I presume Oly can just cancel someone's contract and then we sign them on a Bosman.
If that was the case, you'd think Oly would have supplied a striker on loan at the arse end of the window. Better than such blatant flouting of rules. No idea if the FA or whoever could impose sanctions for something like that, but why piss them off?

That would seem like a perfectly normal thing to do, but then again, we don't tend to specialise in 'normal' though, do we?

After last night shows how much we need another CF wonder if Oly have one we can have

Mir had very little service, but also has this knack of running into the least useful position, meaning no-one to cross too - as 'lone' striker he has to play between the centrehalves and there was no point knocking it long given that monster centrehalf they had.

We definitely need another striker and whether that's offering an opportunity to Murphy or Cummings to put themselves in the shop window, as both in final year OR we go after Wilfred Bony, on a year long contract - like with Ameobi?

Personally, I thought Bostock was Man Of The Match - very composed, always wanted the ball and just looks a better version of Gueddy.... shooting was wayward, but he's rusty too.

He eventually got booked for handball, after a series of tackles - although, I thought the ref very poor. I'd play Bostock instead of Watson - with Silva/Semedo or Sow.

Silva got booked for 2 daft tackles that gave them free kicks in dangerous areas, but he looked lively and finished well.

Appiah was goof first half, but not second - he visibly tired, as did as few of those short of games, Figgy & Yuri.

Jenkinson looks solid and I'd be tempted to start him, with Cash in front of him.

Break the bank to sign Daniel Sturridge.

Did you listen to the ex palace chairman, Simon Jordan talk about Sturridge yesterday?
Stated that no one in the premier league will take Sturridge and would never want him at his club. Didn't want him near impressionable young players.
Highly damning.
Not only that but Sturridge has huge wage demands and he has spent so much time injured.
No doubting he is a good player, but even if he was available, his astronomical wage demands would tip us over with regards ffp.
No thank you.

I remember listening to a radio 5 pundit a couple of years ago describing Sturridge as having 'a heart the size of a pea', meaning that he was so disinclined to play through injury, he didn't even know when he was injured any more

At least talk to Bony and see whether he would be interested in a year

True, he is a massive cash greedy, ball greedy cock-end, but if Grabban got injured (which looking at his record, he will), you would probably crawl naked from Land's End to John O'Groats over broken glass to have him sign here.

Definitely do need a forward and a good one at that, if the opposing team score just one goal it’s going to test us scoring two...
