I believe that season ticket holders at Spurs got in for free so I am not sure the 30,000 at 20 a head is in fact correct.But I believe that Scally would have had in more than he budgeted for in the first half of the season.But that doesn't mean he will allow JED to spend it.Given our position I can see him saying to JED he has to stick with existing budgetary spending. Any extras going to fund a promotion push next season.January prices on players are always inflated as there are very few good available players at each level.

This is incorrect, I believe. My understanding is that Gills got - share (think it was about 30%) of each of the 30 odd thousand crowd, regardless of Spurs letting in season ticket holders for free. This is the reason Spurs were so keen to reduce the price to 10 but Scally wouldn't section it. Spurs disingenuously played the card that they were only reducing the price to benefit fans, including Gills' fans, whereas actually they were just trying to avoid pays out a bigger share of the 20k or so tickets they gave to season ticket holders for free. Typical skinflint antics from a club loaded wit his money, but Scally played a blinder and fortunately most GFC fans saw through the spin Spurs put on the pricing and I certainly didn't begrudge paying 20 as all in the club made several hundred grand because of Scally' stance.

Pretty sure JET is on season long loan,Pask will go back I'm sure,maybe time to blood Oldaker if he proves himself.Cargill hopefully stays put.any updates on Martin,JED was talking about New Year for him,must be up and running at least.
