Transfer Deadline Day - where for art thou Gareth?

Spooks

Vital Champions League
I think we can safely say it will be a quiet one at the Ethiad in terms of 'comings' and 'goings' but we should still see some movements.

Barry will surely end up plying his trade this season down the other end of the East Lancs road or maybe even in London Town...all will be revealed by 11pm tonight!

Headline deals so far seem to be...

Ozil to the Gooners for £43m...

Fellaini and Baines waiting in their cars to speed over to the Swamp...

Moses and Sakho to the Dippers...

And not forgetting deadline day comedian Odemwingie hedging his bets staying over at the Travel Lodge at Magor Services in case Cardiff give him the green light.

I bet Baines stays and Felliani goes. If the rags only get the afro-punk this summer it will be considered very very poor for them.

And Arsenal has spent more on one player than we ever have. Who's ruining football now, Arsene?

It's nice sitting back having done our business early watching all the nail-biting going by the other teams fans. I really hope we don't let Barry go to Everton cos that will signal Fellaini to the rags.

Are the Goons really paying £43million for Ozil? Really??!!

My eyes are nearly popped out of my head as much as Ozil's are after reading that.

If that is true BD, then it is a panic but surely.

also PBM with you Bale not worth £85+, he would have to come with guarantees for that amount.

Not as charasmic as Beckham who made Real money from shirt sales, Bale not exactly pin up material, but I am sure any girl worth her salt would be attracted to the multi-millionaire gareth bale.

Forget the price.

Good signing by Whinger and one that the fans will lap up.

But where Oh where is that high moral ground now!!!??

Good old misery guts and City supporter himself is up to his old tricks on twitter...

Manchester City by far the Premier League's biggest net spenders this summer: £102m spent, £10m in from sales

Agreed, Spooks. He had to do something or risked being dragged into the street and flogged. That being said, it's still desperate and doesn't really address their real problems.

I'd loke to forget the price Spooks but having been slagged off by Arsenal fans for so long for spending money on players I'm going to find it a bit hard to just let them off the hook.

Yeah, but what they've finally realised is that if you WANT to buy a very good player you have to PAY the money.

Seriously, you shouldn't castigate them for the price...you should welcome them to Modern Day football.

Nothing will wind them up more than telling them 'you're the same as us now.'

Mata to PSG is on apparently...

Mata Chelsea PoY last season...more effective (stats wise) than Silva, Cazorla etc.

Mourinho in his element.
