Pick your team. Lots of opportunity here for the squad and a rest opportunity for the likes of Toby, Walker and Rose.

Will Dier lead the side again?

Is Marcus Edwards anywhere near ready?

A quiet 10 day period. Maybe just what we need after the intensity of the Etihad. Just before we head into our Thursday Sunday schedule.

Vorm, Trippier, Dier, CCV, Davies, Winks, Sissoko, N'Koudou, Son, Onomah, Janssen.

Surely that team beats a League 2 team, I'd have the likes of Alli & Kane on the bench, just in case.

I reckon Poch may go with Lloris to get the Citeh game out of his head.

Lloris
Trippier - CCV - Wimmer - Davies
Dier - Winks
Sissoko - Onomah - Son
Janssen

As much as I would like to see N'Koudou given a start, I just don't think he will. If Edwards is fit I think he would get on to the bench but wouldn't start. Wycombe have a decent defensive record in League 2 but they don't score loads I don't think. They will shut up shop from the off but if we score I early I don't see us having any problems. We need to match them for desire though because it is the FA Cup and anything does happen.

I'd play Dier and Wimmer at the back, simply to give them prep playing time together;

Vorm

Trippier Dier Wimmer Davies
Sissoko Winks Onomah
Son N'koudou
Janssen

I think Poch will not take this seriously. He will put out an under strength side and we will get embarrassed. It pains me to say it, but Wycombe will win 2-1

That's the team I would play.
Wimmer is needed as more of a starter now so let's give him the game time he needs rather than give an opportunity to Vickers, for now at least.

Out of 28 silly predictions, he's been right, exactly Zero times...

Vorm, KWP, CCV, Wimmer, Davies, Dier, Winks, Son, Trppier, N'kou, Janssen.

A chance for the youngsters and fringe players to show us what they are made of.

I want to see Trippier further forward, his crossing at times is so good.

We just need Janssen too recognize that and take more gambles at getting into the 6 yard box - he has to get back to being a selfish player and stop trying to be a 'good' workhorse.

Poch should tell him to just operate the width of the box, no need for him to try to be all over the place, it's not his game, and he's not going to score from out wide.

Totally agree. We know he can hold a ball up and lay it off, but working the outside channels won't get him scoring and won't help his confidence one iota..

Definitely. He needs to be selfish if he starts. Concentrate on his own movement and wait for the ball to come to him, even if it never comes. At least then people will recognise that it wasn't him and was just the poor delivery. By trying to help the team out wide and deeper he is inviting criticism on to himself.

He's a striker. Back to basics time... concentrate on scoring and let the team do the rest. I'm pretty sure RvN (who he is compared to) did just that. We all know Janssen is capable of more but for now, keep it simple.

I would like to see a 4-4-2.

Janssen and son up front. If he is looking at giving walker peters a game then why not push trippier to RW. That will give peters some cover on his first game. Give janssen some support with son up with him

Sissoko and winks in the center plus GNK on the LW. I'd play CCV and wimmer and davies LB. Vorm in goal.

Even that team should beat wycome at home.

They're put 11 men behind the ball and play only on the counter - space will be tight, again an early goal would ease the situation, but from what I'm told they're very well organised and don't give too much away - their plan will simply be to get a replay...

Yeah Ex, Mr Happy is merely supplying us with alternative facts!

I doubt it, Gibbsy (when he wasn't in meltdown mode) was at least coherent and factually accurate...

I think his constant positive attitude should give you a clue as to his previous alias, I guess we need to stay positive.
