Under no circumstances should we lose this game.

Once again, the team that beat Chelsea should be selected.

Hell...80 I said that last game! But yeah if the last was an absolute must win, this is an ABSOLUTE must win. The all caps must get the job done.

Does it really matter? It's 3 years and 364 days until we are ready to win anything according to Poch. Expecting a 0-0 draw.

Anything worth winning, 4 years is probably about right. The FA cup is ok and we came close but it's not such an indicator of real ability as the CL and PL.

We are going to finish 3rd. 1 place behind where I think we should be.

Chelsea’s and Liverpool have to play each other which is a win-win for us. However, we must win all our remaining games. They are certainly all winnable. But then again, so was Brighton. We have looked off since the Chelsea game and Kane looks out of sorts. Unfortunately that “mentality” argument is the main discussion again and Arsenal could still have the more “successful season” ?

Sickening thought isn't it ?

Our full-backs are so weak right now that I say ditch the flat back four and re-instate Toby alongside Sanchez and Vertonghen. At least that way, the full-backs can focus on staying wide and attacking the opposition rather than defending. I'd be tempted to have a look at KWP as the right wing-back as well.

It’s too late to bring Toby as anything achievable with him in team has now gone.

There's talk in Belguim that Toby is planning a summer fitness camp under the same guru that JD used - which implies he knows he isn't going to the WC and also that he knows that he has alot more work to put in to get back into top fitness and form, of course it could also be said that anyone that willingly does that is deeply concerned about how they feel post injury (as JD did)...

IF Toby stays now, I suspect it will only be because suitors are deeply concerned at how bad his injury was.

I just hope that Dembo stays on the bench for this one; his 1:10 good games simply doesn't make up for his poor ones.

I don't believe that Toby won't be in the Belgium WC squad. They play 3 at the back and have Kompany, Vertonghen and Vermaelen as other options. In the last game it was Toby and Jan that played the 90 mins. Kompany and Vermaelen had 45 mins each. I'm not sure what other options Martinez has except for maybe moving Meunier inside but I doubt he would overlook a player of Toby's quality. Against Brighton, he looked back to his old self.

3 wins needed. Anything less and it's Europa Cup here we come.

Beat Watford and I am convinced we will be at least 4th......3rd is still a distinct possibility, as long as (no laughing) we win our 4 remaining games. On a separate note Poch has said (allegedly) that he is considering playing the 'kids' next season in the cups, then nobody (presumably supporters and the press) wont have expectations of a cup. Seems a bit OTT way of relieving any pressure he may feel, and its not going to stop supporters wanting and needing to see a trophy come our way....

Total Spurs - it's an interesting comment about the kids playing in the cups. This season, only Foyth at 20 years old has played a part. The next youngest are players like Dele, Winks and KWP. We've also seen other 20 year olds like CCV and Onomah head out on loan. That means we haven't had a single 17-19 year old playing a 1st team role and that must be the first time in years.

I'm guessing that with it being a World Cup year, Poch will get to work with a bunch of the development squad in pre-season. Perhaps that will be good for him to build trust in a few of them.

In the cups, I would rather see strong line-ups but with 1 or 2 of the younger players integrated.

I could accept 4-5 of them in the Carabo cup, and 1-2 of them in the FA cup, as long as they were (virtually) ready to step up to the 1st team squad. Would hate us to field in essence a weak team just to relieve pressure about winning a trophy
