It was obvious in the first half, despite the stop and start, that we outclassed Rochdale by a large margin.

The VAR shenanigans hid what was happening.

I will say their goal was very well taken but it was an aberration. Not an indication of the tone of the game.

The thing is, all this was unnecessary. Start with your best team. Simples.

Yes, but I also think we were shafted in the first half, the players looked discouraged, and then came back and some really good things happened in the second.

Crap conditions and we did that.

Not half bad.

Must admit, I would like to see Llorente and Moura play again together against better opposition.

That was a big positive from the second half and could lead to an alternative if Kane gets injured. They looked as though they had an understanding with each other.

I would start with lorente as his confidence should be at an all time spurs high...and swap for Kane at half time if things are not going well. Then Kane will be very rested and right up for it against Juventus..
