Well? What do you think? Score line?

Everton have it together. This could be a very difficult game. Winnable, yes. But it certainly won't be a walk in the park.

Everton are really playing well, Sneilderlin has settled in nicely, and along with the emergence of Davies they've made a big difference to the way they play, even Barkley now looks like he's finally beginning to realise his potential,

We need to be good enough, but I expect a tough game and they won't just line up and place bricks in front of us.

This is a massive weekend with Liverpool playing ars*nal.

I personally think we need an ars*nal win - twinned with a win for us and we are 7 clear of Liverpool.

We can't drop more points at home in the run in with the last 4 games we have.

I can build a case for how Everton are improving and Koeman is doing a great job. I can't really build a case for many of their players getting into our eleven though. There's definitely some close calls though. In our 4-2-3-1 I'd have Baines over Davies and Barkley playing in with Alli and Eriksen. In our 3-4-3, I'd have Baines again but probably nobody else. Eriksen would shade Barkley, Walker over Coleman, Kane over Lukaku and Dembele over Schneiderlin. Some really close calls there.

Net, net is that if we approach this home game with the right tactics and commitment we should win. If we don't, then Everton can halt our progress in the league. Outside of the to 6, they are the best of the rest.

I'd take Lukaku and Barkley off em but neither would get in my first 11

Think Barkley would a front 4 of

Barkley Alli Christian
Kane

Decent

No pace, none of them are natural dribbles with the ball, no thanks. We wouldn't win anything with that line up.

The one player they do have we should be all over is Deulofeu. At loan at Milan.

Pace, ability to go past players, creates chances. He is exactly what we need.

I'd take coleman over walker all day long but that just my preference.

Like you, I rate Coleman just ahead of Walker for his overall game, Walker is easily the quicker player though and on balance I'd just go with Coleman as my first choice RB as a defensive back, if you'll playing with Wingbacks as we do, Walker wins hands down for his ability to get up and down the pitch the way he does, Coleman at times really struggles to recover quickly.

Agree with Deulofeu. Exactly what we need. Son with ability.

We tried to get Deulofeu from under their noses (a la Toby with Southampton) but failed. I'd have loved him from what I've seen of him but not convinced he's any better than Son, grass is always greener.

The question asks about the final score and so i'm going to plum for a 1-1 draw.

I bet they sit back and wait for the perfect counter attack. They have the players to play that game plan against us and Koeman will know that that is the best way to nullify our attack.

Depending on our CB fitness I am fairly confident of a win. Keeping a clean sheet may be crucial and Toby and Jan work very well together. The CB partnership as we have seen needs to be settled and familiar. They know each others strengths and limitations and cover for each other.

They play 3 CB system as well so kane, ali and eriksen will need to be on it. They have dangerous WB's as well. Should be a really good game.
