Well we may get a first hand look at Jadon Sancho.

Our first test in this challenging group. Sandwiched between Everton and Swansea.

Will Poch actually take the CL seriously this season? He didn't last year. I want to see a full strength team for this one.

If we win this game it will really kick start our season, lose it and it's the same old Wembley woes. Really is a massive game for so many reasons, nervous already!

He'll be taking the game seriously because this is a game we can win. It's important to kick off the campaign with 3 pts & i believe we're very capable of doing so.

Totally agree, although Dortmund are pretty good at playing with a parked bus when needed, I think we'll just have too much for them.

Same team as Sat please Poch.

Against the better teams at Wembley we do not have the pace and speed to break teams down. The same issues are still there.

We will have to play at a really high tempo to win this one.

Alli is suspended, not that he does much on the pitch anyway. Much prefer Son and I hope he steps in.

Dortmund Beat spurs 5-1 over two legs the last time spurs met them in Europe. MP's record in Europe/ cup competitions is poor. Dortmund are still slight favorites to win this game, however, i think it will be a hard fought draw. Before i get over confident in the squad, i have to see how MP use's it and how/ if he adapts spurs approach in Europe/ cup games. Up until now Mp's team selection and tactics have been the same and thus spurs are predictable and top teams know how to set up their team play against spurs.

If we want to get through we have to win this one.

Son will be in for Alli and Dembo in for Sissoko I'd imagine. Seen a few calling for Aurier to start which I wouldn't be against if he's ready

Lloris, Aurier, Toby, Sanchez, Jan, Davies, Dier, Dembele, Eriksen, Son, Kane.

Ideally I wouldn't start Son but there is no one else, this is why we needed to sign 1 more attacking midfielder.

I'd play Dembele in Ali's position and keep Sissoko in CM because he does have pace and power going forward which creates space for others. I like Dembele but he slows everything down playing in CM. However he has the skill to make things happen further forward. I don't think Son is mentally fit yet with still having his arm in plaster and has been underwhelming in his cameos do far, but who knows with Poch, he rarely does what anyone expects in both team selections and subs.

If we play in full strength, I predict a Spurs victory perhaps by two goals difference or even three.

We are in form and I believe Sanchez will neutralise Aubameyang, the only dangerous player they have.

I also believe that there are chances that if Llorente will be used (as a substitute), he will score a goal.

As I have observed, the protective plaster is preventing Son from playing effectively and reaching last season's level of performance.

Must win game. We are in a good place though after the performance at the weekend, and hopefully can translate that into CL win at Wembley :11:

Was at all the CL games last year and going to all these ones too... Let's hope for a better outcome :78:
