Anticipation? Yes.

Excitement? Yes.

Confidence? Complete.

A legendary game in the making.

Both teams on form.

Doesn't get much better in a lead up to the NLD of the White Hart Lane variety.

I wouldn't say ars*nal are in form. Form goes out the window for this anyway, 60/40 in favour of us IMO. If Everton get anything against Chelsea then this will be the biggest NLD for a long, long time.

As well as Dembele being important, i think going back to a back 4 with Dier accompanying Dembele in midfield would be best. Could come a game to soon for Rose.

We have it set up for our supporters' club at our pub on Sunday, buffet and 2 kegs for around 60 of us. Anticipation is high.

MP is dead right about this:

Tottenham manager criticises small ‘above ars*nal’ mentality

Mauricio Pochettino reckons that there are more important targets for Spurs this season than simply finishing above ars*nal – he wants to think ‘mentally bigger’.

Pochettino wants to keep focus on Chelsea, not ars*nal
Spurs 4 points off top of table
ars*nal travel to White Hart Lane on Sunday, kick-off 4:30pm
ars*nal’s season has been so bad that Spurs are actually going to finish above them for the first time since 1995.

That’s right, no St. Totteringham’s Day; no choruses of ‘It’s happened again’.

As you can imagine, Spurs fans are positively wetting themselves at the prospect of finishing above their north London rivals for the first time in over a fifth of a Century. However, Spurs boss, Pochettino, insists that the club should be above that sort of mentality.

“That is no motivation, and no distraction,” said the Tottenham boss.

“What happens at the end of the season, we will see. Our focus is trying to win. We are not thinking to be above ars*nal, our challenge is to reduce the gap with Chelsea and think of bigger things than only to be above ars*nal.

“One day to achieve big trophies, you must be mentally bigger. You must think about bigger dreams.”

Tottenham are just four points off Chelsea at the top of the table with five games left to play each.

We have to win this. Last game at the lane against them slags and a chance to give the chavs a little scare before they eventually win the title.

Tight game 2-1 spurs.

Sounds the perfect set up. Room for one more?

No Dembele, no Wanyama and suddenly the football flowed last night. We only need one of them in CM and that one has to learn to move the ball quickly and positively. For the first time in years I feel confident of beating ars*nal so it's bound to end in tears. Wouldn't it be nice if just once we don't bottle it and do what we know we can do?

I voted draw. We concede early then pull one back early in the 2nd half on a Kyle Walker cross that gets deflected. Kane scores as usual but then the arseholes score in stoppage time on a corner.

There is so much buzz around this game it's easily the biggest NLD since the one that won the Goons the title.

Potentially the last NLD at WHL.
Potentially could put us within 1pt of Chelsea depending on their result.
Potentially could be the final nail in Wenger's coffin.

Personally I hope we play 3 at the back and give our wing backs more security in going forward. ars*nal are finding a bit of fight these days but the atmosphere at the Lane could be the most intimidating ever. Of course we'd all love to see another 5-1 Spurs win but I have a feeling it will be a lot more cagey.

Seems that Dembele and Rose will not be fully fit for this one. Does Poch go with 3 or 4 at the back? Le Arse could be without Koscelny and be forced back into playing 4 at the back as opposed to the 3 they have played with recently. Poch has a dilemma as to start with Sissoko or not. He doesn't seem to trust Nkodou or Janssen. If Rose is fit, Davies could play lcb (like he does for Wales) and Dier pushed into mf which would solve the problem.

If Dembele isn't fit in time I think we might see this...

Lloris
Walker - Dier - Alderweireld - Vertonghen - Davies
Wanyama - Eriksen
Dele- Son
Kane

Depending on how the game goes in the first 15minutes he may change to a 4-3-3 and push Dier into midfield. If Dembele is fit, don't be surprised if Son is played at LWB.

Not happy everyone makes us the favourites, just doesn't sit right!

Yes! They gave us this to make up for an incident earlier this year, when the bartender who was scheduled to open for us showed up late and left several waiting outside when the match started.

'St Totteringham's Day - Not this Season and not any Season after this either!
