First "home" game of the season.

We should win this given the players Chelsea have out:

Cahill - No Ake/Zouma to replace
Fab
Costa
Hazard

Potentially
Pedro
Bakayoko

Whilst we have an almost fully fit squad.

For me Wanyama/Son/Trips to start

shame Chavs have such a thin squad, maybe they should consider spending some money to improve this season

Wonder how we will line up?

Lloris, Dier, Toby, Jan, KWP, Davies, Wanyama, Dembele, Eriksen, Dele, Kane OR

Easy spurs win. Knowing spurs we will probably win the league playing at wembley. We look strong atm, moose is a big player for us as is son now.

Im going 2-0.

When I wrote in the prediction thread that their depth took a hit I never expected it to be as bad so soon. Long may it continue, hopefully Conte would endure a "Mourinho season" as he called it.

Anything less than 3 points would be shocking.

On the face of it a good time to play them. But they are on the rebound from a poor performance plus it's us.

Having said that I would love us to have a right old go at them and tear them to shreds.

Win. Tight game. But our first big win at Wembley and against the team that knocked us out of the cup competition last year.

:4:

Whatever team we put out we need to be 'on it' from the off....we cant expect to pick up the pace when we feel like it, it has to be intense pressure and closing from first to last, and ensure we take any opportunities that hopefully come our way.

Irrespective of what team they put out, for sure it aint going to be a walk in the park, one its them, two we are at Wembley and three they lost to Burnley....but win and we are 6 points better off than them early doors..... fingers crossed

Would people go 3 at the back or 4?

I'm thinking we played em off the park with 3 last seaon but that was WHL.

I think we'll win it and Eriksen will bag a goal or two and Kane will get off the mark.

As mentioned before they are a wounded animal after Burnley, and if they lose this one it could turn into another 'last mouorinho' season for them....so lets KILL em off...its the only kind thing to do for an animal that's in pain heh heh! :15: :15:

Tottenham take on Chelsea at home (Wembley Stadium to be precise) on Sunday in what will be our second Premier League fixture of the season. However, could this be...

This game will have massive implications in May. We need to win.

3 at the back for me. When spurs play the four, balls played into the space behind FB's stretches the defense to much. Take the win or a draw.

I'm expecting a cracking exhibition of high-tempo attacking football, just don't know which team will deliver it.

Normally speaking it's a good opportunity to win.

They say that Hazard could be back for Chelsea.

Strengthening the squad in the days left would add value to such a win against Chelsea.

Now it is a very important period and time to do that.

Especially buying a striker as a back up for Kane next to 2-3 other appropriate additions.

Let's hope that some rumours we hear and we read are true.
Though there isn't much news about a new striker.

And here stupid me thought we'd have a discussion about the game against Chelsea on Sunday which would involve only players available.

I like the look of the "Or" team. Son playing gives us another attacking threat and the means for him and the team to put right what happened in the SF. The other question is Wanyama over Dier all day long. Strong player to repel what the chavs might do and not encourage them with the turnover of possession that Dier frequently indulges in.

Wanyama may not be match fit and KWP not ready for the level of Chavs. That means that Dier is needed for 2 positions really. What do you compromise RB or DM ? I quite liked Sissoko in front of KWP for the 15 or so minutes against Newcastle.
