Torrent Sites

The Malaysian Government, in their infinite wisdom, has decided to block Kick Ass Torrents. It's a great idea to stop illegal downloads, which I'd never partake in. Still, the baby has been thrown out with the bathwater. Now I can't partake in perfectly legal torrent based file sharing. Can anyone recommend any other torrent sites to use for perfectly legal file sharing?

I don't use them tbh not sure what they are about lol but i found a site stating 30 legal torrent sites for people to use

VPN ?
handy for various 'geographic' restictions
(Don't know the view malaysian govt take on use of vpn services obv)

I feel your pain, Kick-Ass is the best torrent site I know. However, I notice the Pirate Bay is back online as TPB, and yts.re is great for movies.

As mentioned VPN. Pirating will never die. Its just far too easy to get around the restrictions.

Our ISP has blocked torrent sites. I've only just realised that as I googled "come.in" but I was, so to speak, refused entrance!

Blimey. You can't get to this site at all? Who are you with? I'm with Sky, who are pretty bad, and I can still get in to this it.

Try typing it into the address bar. If that block it then you do need a Proxy or Tor.

Use TOR and it'll work. Had the same issue when I had SKY as my isp

I had never heard of TOR before. It seems a bit dodgy - but then, using torrents often skirts around copyright issues.

In the UK "come.in" provides working links to all the major Torrent sites, including Kickass.

Does it work where you live?

Yes, it does. Thanks.

The Pirate Bay has its very own browser as part of firefox, its called Vidalia or something. Google it (The Pirate Bay browser), can't put a link here for obvious reasons. I use it all the time, its a bit slow with popups, but hey ho. Plus, it has all the different sites automatically stored in the address bar.
