I am absolutely not the recruitment team. But if we are keen to spend €4m on someone unproven in England, I think that fee would get us Pepple who is young, got room to improve and has cut it in England.
Possibly wages are in issue and that’s why it’s a non starter. On that basis, fair enough.
Anyways, it’s not football manager and it’s better left with the experts!
I was thinking about Adebayo. Free agent. Played in the Prem for Luton. Fits our profile perfectly with physicality and being good in the air plus only 28 . Not bad shout maybe ?

Possibly, an older head up top. I can’t see James Collins stepping back up to the Championship after his ACL, unfortunately.
A loan in league two would be ideal for him. Likely not fit until November/December anyway.
He was on trial at Bristol City earlier in pre-season, not sure if he is now though.
Since they just bought Tolaj and Ballard I think he will have to try somewhere else.
Jez and the scouting team seem to have some very interesting stamps in their passports! Kazakhstan wouldn’t have been at the forefront of my mind in regards to finding players!

Playing history suggests 10-20 games a season tops. So many injuries...
A Sheffield United fan at work reckons we should be all over him, even with his injury issues. Said he's genuinely a very, very good player, should still be in the PL but struggles to stay fit.
