I honestly believe we have a fantastic owner , one who communicates, understands and has a vision. Ellis was an arsehole who had steve stride and Graham taylor to get him out of the shit. Randy spent a fortune and was far away and it collapsed. Dr xia is our saviour because as a business we are a joke but it will change , we have to be patient and believe in the plan and hope they listen to us .

I think we have a good owner. For me the jury is out on fantastic. Let's not forget that for the first few years Randy Lerner walked on water until one day he decided he had put enough money in and that was that. Xia is showing signs of that already and he hasn't even been here for 2 seasons.

As a business I think we are doing quite well considering the results on the pitch for the last god knows how many years. His talk of buying up other clubs and creating a network off the back of Aston Villa worries me. Right now I want an owner who is solely focused on my club not some corporate Empire builder with plans above his station. Make a success of Villa first and then I will welcome these big plans. The club is already great it doesn't need a huge amount of change it just needs a good manager and a good team.

I do worry that he doesn't really "get it" in regards to owning a football club.

October has only 3 league games but they look tough, Dingles & small Heath away and Fulham at home .

I think, September is a crucial month, quite rightly. Because by the end of it, it should be confirmed we will not get promotion this season either.

On the other hand, we may just avoid relegation!

 
I said 13 points would be par on the 1st page, so we have 1 point from 1 game now after that shocker yesterday.

12 points from the next 5 games required or Brucey could be on very dodgy ground.

Do we really think we can win 4 out of 5 though based on yesterday? Very doubtful.

Xia should be praising us for still coming through the turnstiles at all. I genuinely believe our attendances are the only thing stopping us from being in real trouble off the pitch at the moment because if the money stops coming in along with the woeful results it's curtains. Might I add on that I remember some ticket prices being cheaper under Lerner when we were pushing top 4... Anyway, there's always hope. Let's see where we stand at the end of the month.

Nothing wrong with that tweet. "No matter how everyone feels, we need u go behind the team to create the best VP atmosphere. Thanks to all standing together". He didn't say get behind Bruce. Fan support does help the team. He's also made it clear he's angry at the Brentford result. A pro-active owner is a good thing.

I wish people would stop blaming Calderwood/Clement/Wyness/Round/Xia. We're a much stronger club than we were a year ago. The only blame is maybe cutting Bruce too much slack. Bruce has failed. That's where the blame should lie. It can be rectified.

I also asked twice.

He answers about tops not fitting and other inane crap. Even a 'difficult to answer at the moment' would have done!
 
Fans are standing by the team though McParland, in far higher numbers than they deserve. If he's that bothered, he should be there and standing with us?!
 
Let's not start being silly. The doctors tweet is a simple statement in my humble. We do need to keep supporting as we have been in the hope things will turn around. It's not a support bruce statement it's more while the useless lump is here we hope to God he turns it round but if we lose to borough he can piss off and take flabby with him.

The only thing worse than the lyrics board at VP is the one at star city which has a huge Birmingham City advert displayed on a villa home match day.
