tonights matches

Well that was a debacle tonight even though it was a friendly. Japan, mostly their first team, against our second squad and we were no match for them. Too slow, too predictable. Tuchel has some hard thinking to do as the reserves for the World Cup are not good enough. The commentators said that Kane was Englands goalscorer and most of our goals come from him. I think we have seen in City lately that PCs move for everyone should score is the way it should be. If we cant score at the WC and it seems we have our limitations from the style of Tuschels play mechanics we're going to have a frustrtaing World Cup. City pressure double, triple man at the ball, Japan did the same, England didnt. We dont seem to have an answer to this pressure other than send it backwards. That dont win games. Australia were in a similiar position last night, 0-1 down then the second half subs came on. Totally different - the harried and hassled and were quick first time touches and won 5-1 (that Kunda fella from Villa) , something England didnt do, they always slowed it down. Maguire came on and suddenly we had a bit of potency in the box but the Japan defence was equal to it. I wouldnt be sprouting about winning the WC on that showing England and Japan I expect will be even better by them. Yep I know, scores in friendlies are not really relevant - but I hate losing at Wembley, even in friendlies - its just not right.

What a bullshit result - how come - thats ridiculous. So we softened 'em up for Pompey - and they obviously had the answers which we didnt

Just watching Charlton v Hull - Hull may well beed points next week as they are having a poor first half - if they continue like they have, they might just be quaking next week !

I wonder if DF would have kept us up if it were not for unambitious owners and the Webbers they employed ?
I think he could have had we invested properly. I think it's often overlooked how good he was at getting the absolute maximum out of the players we had here.

I know some people on social media and the media in general like to mention how much we spent the second time we went up but a lot of those signings weren't made to improve the team, they were made with the potential next big sale in mind.
