Tonight v Wombles - A must win after Saturday?

Lakespool

Vital Reserves Team
So after last night’s results we sit outside the bottom 4 by the skin of our teeth and by virtue of scoring more goals than Wigan!

After Saturday’s game against the very same Wigan (who were beaten convincingly by Plymouth at home last night) where inexplicably Evatt thought a draw was a good result, we go to Wimbledon knowing that if we don’t come away with at least a point we will fall below the drop line again.

If that happens, and with another ‘6 pointer’ at Doncaster on Saturday (another must win?) I believe relegation will be almost nailed on. Games are running out and if we have to win our last few games we are buggered.

It’s time for Evatt and the players to show some bottle and go for the win. That starts with picking a team that is set up to score and win the game. We cannot sit back and contain as we all know what happens if we go behind.

I’m not looking forward to another 90 minutes of likely torture and I do fear the worst for our next 2 games. I hope I am wrong.

Can anyone share some optimism?

Yes now Thommo has finally been brought in.
Has watched 90% of our games so far tbis season.
Speaks clearly identified the issues on games- passing it around at the back, being attacked in certain areas, players needing a loving arm at times, not just being ripped a new one.
We'll see if he has any influence come the team announcent later today.
Shapes all wrong For that squad.
