...did you have any issues with friends?

Wasn't an issue on Vital as far as I can see,

If I may....

I actually felt very hurt that he'd never propositioned me.

You had parent problems i know mate, if it isn't too intrusive, did you have any issues with friends?

Wasn't an issue on Vital as far as I can see, nor should it be.

Just curious really. I can't for the life of me see why these things matter really!

Nah i didn't have any problems with my friends actually. A few drifted away but i think thats more to do with growing up and people doing different jobs etc. Like my best friends from school days i don't really see anymore apart from one. That's the lads. I'm friends with quite a few of the girls i went to school with still, i just get on better with girls i think for some reason. But to be honest, i never had one negative reaction from my friends. Had a bit of a negative reaction from getting with Rich but that's a whole other story lol!

I think it may have something to do with some people's views of utopia. And that homosexuality may be an infringement upon the development of a utopian lifestyle.

In the family sense - maybe a marriage with naturally conceived children between the couple is the preferred model in a perfect family.

I think you(or anybody) is extremely naive to think that the negativity towards Gay is religious based. Yeah sure some religion will play a part but I think the biggest negativity(if there is any) just comes from some people's ideology of perfect/normal.

And its ok for the Gay person to seek(expect) acceptance from friends and family for who they are...But does the Gay person accept the person with the negative views for who they are?

Is that a Utopian Society based on the model given to us by religion? That would effectively be the one where the Wife is a prized possession, owned by one man. Brilliant!!!!!

Many other societies have enjoyed alternative lifestyles. Polygamy, arranged marriages as well as same sex marriages have all been prescribed by different belief systems. It is the Societal pressure that creates what you call "Utopia".

And why should anyone had negative views about Gay relationships? It's none of their business yet they still try and affect Gay rights, so Gays have every right to not accept this.

Its quite funny really because people will point fingers, give dirty looks - "look at him over there the homophobic ******".. Yet who are you? And where would you be without these people?

The world needs bad for the good to work..If there was no bad, then good couldnt exist..

I could just imagine a world where everyone just stares into a blank space. No poor, no disease, no need for people to hold doors open for the weak - as there would be no weak...A perfect world!

The world needs people like randy's mum..The world needs people like randy...

We needed Hitler and all the bad to happen, it just makes it all tick together in unison. Ideally you wouldnt have people that point fingers and call others a ******...as you would just accept each and everyone for who they are and what role they play in life.

I was not surprised or shocked when I saw this. However I am disgusted at what Green Tea said, not surprised but disgusted.

Yeah, im so grateful to the world for producing people who try and my life a misery just because of who i share my life with. Lol.

Im not really bothered anymore, life is good. 2013 has been the best year of my life.

Nice one Simon. If only we could just ignore these bigots, but unfortunately they are not interested in silent objection. You hear hem all the time, with their ill informed opinions.

Now, if I had a Machinegun to hand.........

I can't see where anyone mentioned religion.

You seem obsessed or just want someone to bite.

I refuse. You are entitled to your opinions. Just not sure why you felt the need to try to turn this into another religious thread.

But embarrassing but hey ho!!

Can we leave people's chuffs out of this please?

Your being prejudice there Heath. Out comes your machine gun, out comes the Hitler in you, as you find a way to create your own utopia. The diversity of "natural" humanity just slips by you...You have to point the finger, you have to judge....No acceptance at all of who people are and how they are wired up...You are Mr.Right and you MUST live my way or I gun you down. What you looking for, blond hair, blue eyes, white skin...Bigoted much.

It makes me laugh because in the teacher's thread, you say kids need it all to experience life. Yet in your utopian view we would never experience anything as a species. Ive told you before and based on that outlook which you stated in that thread - we need the diversity, we need good and bad, we need light and dark...How would we have come as far as we have without the diversity? Why do think this diversity was given to us from the start?

Acceptance is what you lack...You waaaaaaaay too judgemental.

This is irrelevant to the thread green, you are just doing this for effect matey, it's a bit daft.

Go have a mince pie ( not a euphemism) and chill!
