Yep, reduced purchase price, player sales that he paid for (not academy), or % reduction or lower purchase price.
 
Just imagine what state we would be in the Americans pulled the plug but at least looking a bit more likely now. It is the just the waiting. Thanks Ozzy for the information and I am sure we would all like an update whenever you have anything.
 
I think i get what you're saying, Ozzy.

It sounds as if there is agreement of the overall price, but the methods of Fawaz claiming his percentage are to be decided?
 
Thanks Ozzyten. It's the player sakes bit confusing me too. Do you mean Fawaz is dithering about how to he covers the extra bills under the sale i.e. whether he accepts a reduced purchase price, lower % retained than his 20% or foregoes anything from player sales he planned to keep for himself?
 
Don't know. Above is as reliable as it gets. Player sales: fawaz reps argued that the assets are his investments, so if purchase price is changed he can recoup from current squad. However, academy has some sort of clauses involved as a legacy from doughtys sale

It will be done. Not quite yet! The accounts are in a shocking state. Americans have funded us until end of Jan. The delay is about how much they are taking off the price: as unpaid bill after unpaid bill have surfaced. Also fawaz is dithering on how he wants it paid. Current player sales, % dwindled from 20%, or guaranteed purchase price for his 20%. The embargo lifting is significant but not done.
Rowett wants the job but won't wait indefinitely.

Given the timing of this post you have to question the credibility of your source Ozzy.

One thing I will say is anyone referring to the state of the accounts as a reason for the SOP right now is blagging it.

We're in a position to file our historicals and I'm told that there was an anti-embarrassment clause in the deal so the above reason is BS.
