Today IS The Day

Don't worry number5, it's all done & dusted, we just need to agree on the price & some minor contractual issue, mainly the writing & signing of them.

So we just have to agree on the price, and write the contracts which won't start until Monday because of the weekend, and then there's American Holidays, Kuwaiti Holidays, Easter ...

... whilst my guitar gently weeps. :23:

COME ON ANDY & JASE. GET ON IT!

Jobseekers!

6 hours galaxy. you have 6 hours to be proven right or I am going to have a bad taste in my mouth when I read your posts in future, which may ease with time, but the hurt will never be forgotten.

Transfer embargo lifted, accounts filed.

It's on muthafúcker

Hypothetically, even if the takeover goes through I doubt we'll have anything to shout about this month. Almost certainly better players will leave than arrive (depending on your view of Lansbury).

Even if the Americans want to spend money (which I doubt), what decent player is going to want to come to forest?

Our reputation is awful. Some will ignore that but no player worth his salt will ignore our league position. We can forget the likes of Hourihane- maybe in the summer, but not a chance would any player on the way up risk league one.

Only players we will be able to sign are ones who have to accept the risk of league one because they have no other options or temporary loans

Welcome back Pope!

Although I find it rather coincidental that Pope reappears on the very day that CGF call in the receivers; could Pope and Dan be one and the same?

I wonder.....

What have CGF done?

I've been called a lot of things in my time Mao but accusing me of being dictator Dan is really offensive! :19:

GIVE US AN UPDATE FAWAZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Surely Fawaz is the last person we want an update from? He's the one on the way out and we wouldn't be able to believe a word he said anyway.

I await the day we get an announcement, through the website, written by a qualified and competent communications officer, carrying the name of a CEO with some pedigree and who doesn't have some Rich child undermining him

Dan's run out of money and can no longer finance the site.
Jom is trying to put a consortium together to keep the ship a float; the consortium includes Mark Arthur, Nick Leeson, two of the guys from the Hatton Gardens job and the bloke that bought BHS off of Phil Green.

Well that's according to Marco Polo who appears to have all of the inside info

It will be done. Not quite yet! The accounts are in a shocking state. Americans have funded us until end of Jan. The delay is about how much they are taking off the price: as unpaid bill after unpaid bill have surfaced. Also fawaz is dithering on how he wants it paid. Current player sales, % dwindled from 20%, or guaranteed purchase price for his 20%. The embargo lifting is significant but not done.
Rowett wants the job but won't wait indefinitely.
There is a shocking mess to clear up.
