The Italian defender has a difficult name to pronounce, Suarez found him a bit of a mouth full.

I think he's bitten off more than he can chew this time.

I can't see that FIFA will be able to floss over this one

I know the Uruguayan coach said that he wanted hungry players but I think Suarez might have misunderstood.

When interviewed about the incident Suarez said that the guy had a chip on his shoulder and that, after months of training and watching his diet throughout the season and in preparation for the world cup, he just couldn't resist his favourite food any more, he just loves chips.

If he is banned, Luis is going to pursue a singing career. His first album is to be "Fangs for the memory".

Including a cover version of the Def Leppard song, Love Bites.

The Uruguay coach has taken full responsibility for the incident, he admitted telling his players that this was a big match, something they could really sink their teeth into.

Rumour has it that Mike Tyson has applied for Uruguayan nationality as he feels he can still offer something to their team in his new favourite sport, "soccer"

far too lenient again
no doubt the professional victims will be out in force again making their excuses

utter scum - perfect for the dippers

Not totally sure they could get away with making the ban longer without legal action. The independent tribunal couldn't agree apparently if there had been a bite (not read that, my dad just told me, so not 100%)

In some ways, that is harsh for Liverpool, but then, they renewed his contract after the last biting incident (again, I think) so....

In an ideal world, he'd just have been told he can't play again, but as said, you can't really do that when someone has his contract etc.

Suarjaws is gon get ya da da da da, i want to be at VP next season watching us play Pool and us all chanting the jaws theme oh i would die happy :)

Adrenalin, focus & a hugely winning mentality takes over and forces the gritting of teeth in a mad moment - probably didnt have clear concise control of all his senses at that particular point. If you look at some of the greatest sportsmen you will see incidences where the game focus/will to win takes over - Tyson, McEnroe, Higgins, Zidane, Cantona, etc etc.

Basically banning a great player that dosnt have the full control over how the adrenalin takes over his body/mind. Shame really!
