Carvalhal doesn't believe a change of system is needed but a lot of the talk after the Chelsea defeat is that the back 5 needs to be ditched to give us a fighting chance.

It's obvious isn't it? Doesn't matter what the stats say either way, got to ditch this 5 at the back rubbish and be braver. Knowing us we'll be scared of Bournemouth as well and sit back.
 
The answer was the Stoke match yesterday,where we ditched five at the back and lost to a team who had only won once on their travels, and were probably the worst team we’ve faced this season. The table doesn’t lie, most of our players are crap as well.

We created 11 shots on target, and conceded a goal from a set piece. At least we saw some action in the final third, we just don't have the players. We played like we were already down, Carvalhal said he still believed in articles and yet put that side out, starting Routledge who doesn't even make the bench normally.
 
Yes, I think he left out Ki, Naughton, and Fernandez because they want to leave.
King has returned to Leicester and wished us luck in the future so he’s gone too.
That’s just the start of the exodus, rats and sinking ship come to mind.
 
first question to the new manager for next season should be "are you going to play negative football with a back five" - if it's a yes you're out the door!
