Time to bring Yaya in from the cold?

Alert Team
Apparently Toure's agent has apologised to Pep Guardiola, an act which supposedly could clear the way to enable Yaya to be selected to ply for City again. Toure's contract is due to expire next summer and it is believed that Pep would be prepared to see him leave on a free transfer prior to this change in circumstance.

So the question is - if this is accurate and the toady agent has done what Pep requested, would you select Yaya again for the club? Can he cut it under the intense regime demanded by our new coach or do you think tht no matter how high he has raised his fitness levels, tht he is unlikely to be able to undertake the persistent and consistent closing down that we have seen the team undertake?

Is it time to bring Yaya in from the cold?

I think it might be too late for Yaya, his days at City are numbered and to be honest, i'm not overly keen to see him playing for us again. Especially with what's been going on recently.

Like I said on a similar thread - Dimitri Seluk has ended his clients career far too early. What a shame, what a twat :101:

If an apology is given then he's in contention for selection, whether that means he's capable of playing anything other than cameo roles remains to be seen.

BB great to see you here again, I miss you playing the comps but hopefully we will see more of you here.

I agree with your comments on Yaya and it is never too late.

Good to see you BB.
FA Cup? :006:

Seriously though, no. Too late and Seluk hasn't apologised.

Ya has apologized on behalf of himself and his agent, but nob head has not apologized and can't understand why Yaya has, so be a man Yaya, pay him out and get rid of this toad. :016: :016: :016:

I'd say Seluk has him by the short and curlies contractually.

My feelings exactly :026:

Yaya has won us some very important games, I blame all this squarely on the pile of dung he calls an agent.

I still, think Yaya can do a job for us, but more likely as a sub.

If the club are satisfied with the apology, then he'd still be an asset to help close out games. Can't see him starting (m)any games, but he's still a quality player.
It's a bit moot though, as i can't see Seluk apologising

When naming his Champions League squad prior to the play-off round against Steaua Bucharest at the beginning of September, Pep Guardiola had to name what he thought was his best 21-man Manchester City squad. Here cometh the problem.

Should Yaya be welcomed back into the Manchester City first team fold?

Over the years Yaya has been a loyal MCFC servant but I’m sure many of you will agree, perhaps its time for him to move on.

Have to take exception to your use of the word loyal there T. The only loyalty Yaya's ever shown is to that **** of an agent/representative.

Now here we have the problem Yaya has meeting with Pep, YT says sorry Pep says I want Shitluck to say sorry. That is not going to happen as much as getting Mrs B saying sorry to me and I was right first time

To apologise is a good thing if it is meant and comes from the heart. I somehow think that this isn't the case with Toure so I would not play him.
If his problem is Siluk then he can sack him or perhaps shoot the p***k then he might get a game if I were to be picking the team.
There is no place for Yaya at the moment anyway and why would a really loyal player be dropped for him.
F##k him.
