There is a match in a few hours.....

Not worth a thread for Wigan Fan Comments as apparently on three of them have computers:

5,163 today and over 1,500 of them Forest.

Some people might say Forest weren't up to much, which is fair but some of that is us not giving them a chance to do anything.

Really pleased with the performance but I can't get too excited because our opponents were the worst we've seen all season.

They gave us so much space in midfield, it was no surprise that we were able to move the ball forward at will.

Still, there were several positives (one of which may be that Forest are bad enough to be a relegation contender too) and we can enjoy our Saturday night for once.

Think he's dead man walking and he knows it!!
I believe Americans have spoken to Rowett and will appoint him on Wednesday!!

You have heard this or just what you want to happen?

Wigan are crap, utter crap. However, they think they are better than us and it would appear that they are right

dumitru must be the worst player ever to play for forest. has to be. shocking.

And that's not an accolade won easily.

There is competition from Jones, Sonner, Dadi, Silenzi, Rosario and a few others but I think Dummy just shades it :70:

If it was PPereira who scouted him - I'm glad he's gone - I'm staggered he has actually made it as a professional!

Dummy is right up there with the worst & we've had some bad players!

Cheers CP.

Common theme from the opposing fans that we are the worst they've played - worryingly, they are right and they see us as relegation fodder.

I know you are a fan of PM, but I don't think he has the ability to turn this around - do you?

PS - That's not me having a dig, as I do understand the constraints he has been working under.

Worst performance of the season and hes clearly lost the dressing room

Put this on another thread, but huge bust up at HT between the players - Benny mentioned it, then at FT - nothing said.

Big rifts within the squad - off field issues clearly don't help.

It will be interesting at the training ground today.

I thought it was different player, but I don't actually have a problem with players falling out - we need fighting spirit.

DF was criticised widely for the dour football, but the only way out is for us get into the habit of keeping clean sheets.

Don't we have the honour of holding both the worst defensive and disciplinary records in the FL.

rumours Worrall and mills had a big bust up after worralls interview.

It's an unpopular view but Worrall shouldn't have been sent to do that interview and he certainly shouldn't have said what he said.

No good can come of players publicly accusing their team mates of not trying. That belongs behind closed doors.

we have signed some truly awful players the last number of years.

kevin gomis who we had on loan for a while previously is playing in the SPL now with Dundee.

we need a massive clearout. I fear the takeover is too late at this stage.

It's also a common theme for opposition fans to see far more positives than certain posters...

Do I think he can turn it around? Yes under a proper structure without having shite players forced upon him and the handful of good ones sold behind his back. By the by we're not actually in the relegation zone...

I don't think many managers could keep this set of players out of the lower half of the championship, especially with injury constraints and our fooktard of a chairman. Certainly no manager we could have a reasonable expectation of attracting.

Do I think it's important we stay up? No, not particularly. What is important is we get the fundamentals right at the club. A constant cycle of sacking managers every few months and then rebuilding our squad just leaves us with a vast debt, and each season in a far worse position than the last.

Keeping PM would be the first step towards that (and it helps he gives youth a chance and attempts to play enterprising football).

However if we get a new owner who puts a structure in place and wants a new manager who will be a long term appointment then I can accept that. Just please let it be someone with a footballing ethos I can be proud of.

Which is still slagging off his team-mates but stops short of accusing them of not trying.
