On those rare occasions that we go to a West End show, we normally head to one of the "bucket" shops around Leicester Square where you can often get tickets for a lot less than if you went to the theatre itself. For example, the summer before last we got tickets for a Saturday afternoon showing of "Les Miserables" for £19 each.
Is there anything similar to this in the larger English cities?
"West Side Story" is currently at a theatre in Manchester and if tickets could be got relatively inexpensively, then we might be tempted.
