The War in Afghanistan is Over

Sort of. Ceremonies have been held in London and Camp Bastion to mark the end of the war. 453 British servicemen lost their lives in the 13 year war. The war with the Taliban is being continued by the Afgan Army.

Tony Blair said something but nobody gave a shit because he's a ****.

453 British personnel, over 2000 Americans and countless others from the other nations involved. Add to that the more than 10000 civilians killed. The only thing I want to hear from Blair is that he has bought a gun and will now do the honourable thing so we dont have to listen to his bullshit ever again.

There is a few hundred civilian staff still over there helping out in the background with admin

Never should have gone in, never learn from history, never will.

Idiotic waste of our brave young soldiers.

As for Blair, he's a war criminal, end of...

To be fair to Blair (I know, I know) Afghanistan was legally mandated and above board and Afghanis were put in charge, elections held and troop reductilns started as soon as the Taliban / Al-Qaida were removed from power. The issue with Blair is Iraq.
