I always thought it was type of stuff Mr. Muscle gets rid of! Of course my parents would have said the same of grunge when I was rocking out to Nirvana, lol.

Sounds like it should be sub-genre of metal but I'm guessing not?

British hip hop born out of drum and bass and uk garage along with dubstep. Stormzy and Skepta are among the most currently successful artists.

Love rock, but also like Hip Hop, Rap and Grime... so ner ner I think there are exceptions Northampton!

Me too, always loved my dance music - more house, techno, drum and bass and dubstep than grime tbh, Always exceptions JF.

Really enjoyed the four part series PUNK shown recently on Sky Arts I think. Looked at the genre from the late 60's through to current times. This top tune from 1988 popped up. Lyrics are spot on, even today.

9/15 but in all honesty, I think I knew 2, the rest were lucky guess.

Ordered my first new album in months. Slipknot. Should be nice and chilled out! Used to have at least 5-10 cds a month, sometimes more, nowadays, there is just nothing come out that interests me. Sad times.

Shows how the internet has changed and diluted the visibility of stardom I think. Through out the 20th Century, through a more limited media, stars of the day were more readily recognisable to all IMO.

Really loving these 2 lads at the moment. Despite most of their stuff being a bit comedic and fun they can tap into a darker side that's for sure.

It probably is, but I like some shite now and again.

It's nowhere near what I usually listen to, I think hearing Dublin slang in hip-hop/rap is what does it for me and the fact most of the time they are talking utter shite

I probably should know who they are, but have never heard of them. Shows how out of the loop I am, apart having a fondness for those two rapping chavs that Melon Donkey is a big fan of, lol.

Same thing today at home where my mam and sister were playing some new guy, and they couldn't believe I hadn't heard about him.

I think I've lost a lot of interest in seeking out current music to be honest.

Me too, mate. In fact, I have been spending more time looking into artists from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s who have passed me by. Trying as hard as I might not to sound like my parents, modern music is broadly shite - they don't make them like they used to.
