Vital Football Legend
We are in a dire situation and don’t know where the next win is coming from.
Our head-coach has been a failure. He has had over a year in charge and made no progress. In fact we’ve gone backwards, not helped by poor quality signings last summer due to the owners unwillingness to pay the going rate for players and wages.
Then there was the lack of signings this January coupled with our highest paid key player and captain being allowed to run away for more money in a sideways move to another Championship club with more ambition.
The owners seem not to realise that their investment is crumbling before their eyes and how bad it could get with relegation to League One.
The Chairman is likened to Emperor Nero, who played the fiddle while Rome burned.
The long suffering supporters fed up with the turgid football on offer have deserted in droves and our attendances have dwindled to the lowest in the Championship since our relegation from the Premier League.
We thought there was a bright future ahead with a change of ownership but it turns out the latest lot are just as bad if not worse, with cuts across the board hampering any progress. Why these very rich and successful businessmen with their multi-millions want to buy into a football club then act like amateurs in the running of it is baffling.
Well, as they stand by and do nothing and watch their investment crumble, our beloved club has the real and unthinkable threat of relegation looming.
