The Tim Iroegbunam Thread

I'm hearing that Chuck is still refusing to sign and is being courted by some of the Sky 6.

Signs for Sky 6, makes a few bench appearances, gets shipped out on loan, gets injured, returns to club, gets loaned again, stop start season, returns to club, rinse and repeat until he hits 22 when he signs for a Championship team for peanuts/on a free.

Meanwhile Tim and Archer who concentrated on their football are playing in the EPL.

He might have a shock soon, Tim will be playing at Villa and Chuck will be in league one on loan from one of the "big 6" or playing in the Bundesliga. If he can break this Villa side he sure isn't breaking a top 6 one and there is no better than Villa

I know it was only 10 minutes but I was impressed at Brighton. Very composed on the ball and didn't look overawed at all.

I look forward to seeing more of him.

Winner 2-30 at Warwick?

Spot on. Sadly seen this too often. He would be better off joining a Championship team and playing every week than joining a Sky 6 team, fading from view and failing to develop.

Maybe the comparisons to Pogba are correct, as he's been a prick about signing a new contract 🤷‍♂️

I think Iroegbunam is the one who has been compared to Pogba. If Chukwuemeka signs a new deal as well then great but he needs to decide what he wants from his career.

No player younger than him has played more premier league minutes this season and Gerrard seems to have huge faith in him seeing as he's thrown him on with plenty of time left against the likes of Man Utd. Is he really going to be starting for man city or arsenal or even Dortmund. No. Which means endless loan spells at lower tier clubs around Europe. He'd be better off staying with us.

I'm trying to figure out if this is a good thing

As debuts go that was a decent game for Tim. Well done and it will do his confidence a lot of good.

I thought the booking was harsh as he was entitled to go for the ball as it was on his side of the tackle.

It looked worse after the Norwich player went down screaming and waving to the bench he was seriously hurt but just like all the other Norwich fannies doing the same thing throughout the game he was up soon and running around again after he got what he wanted by the booking for Tim.

It wasn't helped by an utterly incompetent referee who fell for it every time.
